Welcome

No matter what you've done for yourself or for humanity, if you can't look back
on having given love and attention to your own family, what have you really
accomplished?

Ok, so it's the beginning of 2008. Sometimes it seems like life just fast forwards and before you know it we are at the end of another year. I think this is the year to stop and smell the roses. 2008 is just barely upon us and it's already looking like a busy year (so much for getting to stop and smell the roses).

The beginning of 2008 has been fairly quiet in the Johnson house. We are were all very thankful that the holidays were behind us. Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed all the time spent with family and friends, it was just nice to get back to normal.

This year is filled with milestones for my precious family. Ty will turn 1, Emily will turn 5 and start Kindergarten and Rick and I will celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in November.

A man of good will with a little effort and belief in his own powers can
enjoy a deep, tranquil, rich life -- provided he go his own way. He need not and
should not think of making a good living, but rather of creating a good life for
himself. To live one's own life is still the best way of life, always was, and
always will be. -Henry Miller
